Greater Newark Business Development Consortium (GNBDC)

New Jersey Commission on Science and Technology (NJCST)
Established in 1985, the Commission is responsible for the development and oversight of policies and programs promoting science and technology research and entrepreneurship in New Jersey.  Through the Edison Innovation Fund, the Commission provides funding to New Jersey technology companies, in partnership with a New Jersey research university, for proof-of-concept research and development activities necessary for commercialization of an identified technology. Other programs from the Commission support entrepreneurial companies through SBIR Bridge grants, technology fellowships and incubator seed fund grants.
