Procurement technical Assistance Center (PTAC)
The NJIT Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) provides contractual and technical assistance to small-established New Jersey businesses interested in marketing their products, services to federal, state and local government agencies.  The center operates under a cost sharing cooperative agreement between Department of Defense and New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Greater Newark Enterprises Corporation (GNEC) is a community development corporation, and Certified CDFI, established in 2005. The Organization is exempt from income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and similar provisions of the State code. GNEC provides financial assistance and training to small businesses in a variety of topical areas, including financial literacy for entrepreneurs, business planning and business management across a myriad of industries. Economic development is the primary purpose of The Greater Newark Enterprises Corporation, and the organization carries out that mission by financing small business growth and development, job creation, community facilities, and providing financial services for low-income families. GNEC is organized to encourage and assist commercial enterprises, including those owned by minority, women and low-income entrepreneurs possessing the capability to operate successful business concerns.

New Jersey Commission on Science and Technology (NJCST)
Established in 1985, the Commission is responsible for the development and oversight of policies and programs promoting science and technology research and entrepreneurship in New Jersey.  Through the Edison Innovation Fund, the Commission provides funding to New Jersey technology companies, in partnership with a New Jersey research university, for proof-of-concept research and development activities necessary for commercialization of an identified technology. Other programs from the Commission support entrepreneurial companies through SBIR Bridge grants, technology fellowships and incubator seed fund grants.

New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA)
The EDA is a self-supporting, independent state agency whose mission is to stimulate business development, job creation and community revitalization throughout the State. From its large portfolio of varied programs and services, the EDA can assist entrepreneurs with low-interest financing assistance, including tax-exempt and taxable bond financing, loans, loan guarantees, venture capital and business and tax incentives and with training and technical assistance programs.

American Entrepreneurship Today
American Entrepreneurship Today-New Jersey is the premier centralized resource for entrepreneurship in New Jersey.   It provides important information about events and resources to assist entrepreneurs and small business owners to start and to grow their New Jersey businesses.
